Practicing Dentistry since 1972 and Periodontics since 1979, Dr. Drury offers his patients years of experience in the field of Periodontics and Dental Implants. A Clinical Professor and Course Director at USC School of Dentistry for 42 years, he has a unique blend of didactic and clinical expertise.
He is a past President of The California Society of Periodontists and the Western Society of Periodontology, He is a past Chairman of the American Board of Periodontology, a Certified Dental Editor and Editor in Chief of the Journal of the Western Society of Periodontology, He is also the Periodontal Peer Review Chairman for the California Dental Association, and Ethics Chairman for the Western Los Angeles Dental Society. In addition he is a former trustee for the American Academy of Periodontology, and is board certified in both Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery.
He has won teaching, research, editing, journalism, and public service awards. He has been listed in Who's Who
in America.
The office philosophy is centered around preservation of the natural dentition for as long as possible. Dental Implants, if necessary, are offered at reasonable fees. Dr. Drury has been placing dental implants since 1985. The office provides an exceptionally friendly atmosphere and is committed to the comfort, health, safety, education, and well being of our patients.
Also available are periodontal screening examinations to confirm the presence of periodontitis. If the presence of disease is detected, the patient will be offered a complete periodontal examination and treatment plan at a reasonable fee.
